I dont remember them as much but Im pretty sure I would have read them as I was a right book worm!
Because we lived abroad for a big chunk of my early child hood, my parents used to come back to the UK once a year and stock up on books and toys for me and my brother as you couldnt get those things where we lived!0 -

It's was set in a boarding school and in the fifth year they had their own rooms!! Thought it was marvellous me....had to share with my sister!!
