Morning Angie
Ooooh...deffo need that fire in here...:D
Am getting a new boiler and new rads on 15th December and do not fancy having no hot water/heating for 3 days!! :(I put them off as long as I can, and I have to take (unpaid leave!) to stay at home with me dog!!
Well I would have been in a right old state taking unpaid leave, but now its a welcome break :jand money doesn't worry me as much as it used to.
Probs going to finish my decorating whilst off work, you know what its like, I started it, and keep putting it off and I really need to get my !!! into gear and get it finished for chrimbo!!!

Oooh Sugar, ive just had new boiler installed (courtesy of housing association), but luckily mine was done in the mild beginning of November, so it wasn't too cold without heating for a couple of nights! Make sure you have plenty of warm clothes to wrap up in though!
At least it will be all fitted and working before xmas, shame its unpaid leave but as you say, good its not such a huge worry for you now
What sort of dog do you have? Im a right dog loverx

Lol - yup mine is courtesy of H/A too
Just put them off so my days off will be in January's pay and not b4 xmas:T getting savvy with monies now!!
I got a massive German shepherd, and she is more a guard dog than a pet...was my ex hubs but I do love her, and she is a godsend as I do work 7 days a week. She is moulting at the mo, I get furry feet going up the stairs :rotfl:
I have to stay at home if I get any work done and make sure she doesn't attack any workers!! She hates MEN....:D (trained well!!!)
A lot of homes were burgled a few years ago and mine was the only one that didn't...the Police are scared of her too, when they came to investigate they asked me to take her away before they would come in. I have her registered as a guard dog at the local Police station..BSC member 328:TB/R Nov 08 - Nov 09:TLife is a lemon and I want my money back! (Meatloaf)

Our dog is a staffie/labrador cross (rescue dog). And I have to say having a dog in the house makes you feel very safe!
Your dog obviously did her job well as you weren't burgled, what a shock they would have got if they had managed to break in eh?:rotfl:

Oh yes...they wouldnt be alive now!! I raised the alarm when I got in from work (early that day) my kitchen was trashed by me dog!! claw marks dug into the back door where she tried to get out and get em! My sheds got broke into and the idiots didnt get chance to take owt cos of me good ol' dog
I phoned Police and 5 houses around me had been burgled, all my neighbours were at work.
Makes me mad, thieves, and yes Angie makes me feel very safe and secure having a dog!
