No hun they (housing association) are not responsible for things like that. So it will be Mr AP's DIY job we think. No idea how much it would cost to replace or if its a case of sourcing replacement parts but in theory you're dealing with gas so should get a gas safe engineer to look at it. One thing after another sometimes hey!!!
