Looking for a suitable mortgage by myself - Please help

Hello all
I hope someone can help me here.
I am looking to buy a place and have a 20% deposit .
I met up with the EA mortgage advisor as per EA suggestion but realised they charge £150 to find a suitable mortgage from a limited panel of lenders.
Surely I thought this charge is not fair as they are not looking at the entire market and besides they were hassling me about buying all sort of insurance products so I have now decided to go down the route of doing all the reasearch myself.
I have had a mortgage before and understand the underlying charges to a certain degree.
I started my research looking at moneysupermarket.com,gocompare.com
Can someone suggest any other broker sites for mortgage comparion?
Many thanks

I would suggest you simply find a Mortgage Consultant, rather then the Mortgage Salesman you already had the pleasure of!
I would look for a whole of Market Broker thats local to you.
If you insist on doing it yourself then then I believe the FSA website would be a good starting pointI am a Mortgage Adviser
