    Can't say whether it's the best or not (you'd need to go through personal circumstances with a broker to establish that) but I'd be happy to take that rate if you can get it.

    Personally I don't see the point in 2 year fixes at the moment. 2 years time may well be the high point in interest rates. It doesn't give you long to have increased salary or to have paid off much capital. So what would you do in two years time if rates are high?
