ccj help

Hi there i was made br on jan 31st 2006 so not long left now. Any way i have cleaned up all my credit files just waiting on natwest cc and its all done the one question i have is just before br on 5/12/05 i was given a ccj i have recently contacted howard cohen and co who gave this to me. Sent them br order and discharge letter and recieved a letter saying this

We acknoledge reciept of your payment recieved on 23rd december 2005
We can now confirm the above judgement is payed in full and you ar at liberty to apply for a acertificate of satisfaction.
Now looking at this if this ccj was payed on the 23rd december 2005 as it says in the letter can i get this removed as am i right in thinking if it is payed by a certain date it should be removed any one know ?

    Given the wording/dates of that letter, then you may well have the evidence required to have the CCJ removed from the Register of Judgments and Fines.

    You have it in writing that the judgement was paid within the required one calendar month to have it removed. Technically it wasn't paid, but if the court will accept that letter then you may be in luck. :)

    Or at the very least get it marked as satisfied if it can't be removed altogether.

    Next step is to talk to the court to get that in motion and see exactly what can be done.
