CSA1 to CMEC

Hi all!

Just trying to get some info in regards to the new CMEC rules coming in next year. Be very grateful for some ideas! :T
Ive been on CSA1 for the past 8 years with no sign of being phased over to CSA 2. With this in mind do you think that this will change next year or will things probably carry on as normal?

From speaking to someone at CMEC, both bodies will exist, the csa will deal with cases that cannot be agreed between the parents, the sums remain the same.
The talked about csa3 works on gross pay rather than net, but what is unclear then is the money taken before tax otherwise the nrp pays stoppages twice on the money and would the recipient have to pay the tax etc on the gross contribution?

Really? So all of the info that has been put out there by the CSA/CMEC regarding the 'new gross system' is not happening at all?

The Commission continues to develop plans for a future scheme that is intended to replace both the existing schemes. As with all government departments, the Commission is undertaking a review of its plans as part of the current spending review and in line the new government's priorities.

Thanks for link. The response doesnt really give much away though. Looks like a 'wait and see' approach from my side!
