Thanks for the post, we have the original hardboard book and my son loves it (He is 15months), too much so as he has managed to chew all the edges. I think he will love the puppet in the new book, thanks OP...!

I bought this for my little ones a few months ago - was quite disappointed because it isn't The Very Hungry Caterpillar story, it's a counting book (one number on each page) with a finger puppet through the middle.

Have just got my copy off the shelf & am sure it's the same one....

(it's quite nice, just wasn't what I was expecting when I ordered it).
