Denham Grove is not too far from London and has dates e.g. Sat 1st and Sunday 2nd currently £20 per night, if you don't mind taking the car and driving 5 mins to the nearby Denham train station or 15-20 mins to the nearest Londond underground tube (Rickmansworth or Uxbridge) and paying £1.50 to park all day on Sat and £1 for Sunday at Rickmansworth station http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/tubestationcarparks/default.aspx

Booked with 2 rooms for 2 adults in the end & phoned the hotel. Hard work but hopefully worth it with the De Vere group. :j

tried to book the St Davids in Northampton. It was stating £20 rooms but by the time I registered they had gone up to £89 for Sat overnight stay. Booked a Friday night stay instead and was available for £20 in total.

Thought this would be a nice treat for hubby and myself for our anniversary in January. Our closest one is Barony Castle, and not surprising price is not £10!

I managed to get on just after 10am but only through Firefox. Looks like all of the Saturday nights are now gone.

They never have any availability at Barony for these events, not sure why they include it! I did complain on the last event and got an email from the manager to say I could have a special rate but it was nowhere near the promotional rate that was running and so I politely declined!:mad:

There only doing the special offer on the venues, and the wedding were going to is at Oulton Hall which is a resort and spa!!!!!!!!

Thought it was too good to be true ha ha ha ha
