Me and my wife are wanting to go bankrupt asap. We dont have the spare cash to pay the fees and are considering doing a payment plan with a debt company. Is this a good idea or is it a rip off

I have spoke to an insolvency practitioner and spoke to cccs and they both advise that bankruptcy is the best option for us as until we voluntarily surrendered are home we had 50k worth of debt now that has doubled with the shortfall from the sale0
