I was also interested in this product for my son who's 9, I managed to find them instore at wilko's however when I inspected the parts I was very dissapointed as the tools are all plastic and the "kid wood" is simply foam.
I understand that for the younger age limits that the box explains, it would certainly put your mind at ease that kids are unable to hurt themselves but I assumed there would be sturdy tools and wood like bolsa (sp?)
The brand "real construction" is a little misleading to me on this package as it would also apply to lego I guess but there was nothing real about it for me and it was something that my son would simply rip and tear rather than using the tools.
Hope this helps anyone who like me may have been interested in purchasing but assumed it would be more realisticRunning total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan

My daughter who is a real tomboy saved for weeks and weeks so she could buy this. She was so excited to get home and start playing with it andconstruct things. Upon getting home she was so dissapointed to find that it was foam, not wood and the tools were rubbish. Luckily we were able to get a refund for her but it really is not worth the money and i suspect a few kids will be very dissapointed on Christmas morning.0
