Expenses Questions

I have just started being self-employed (set as a sole trader and not Ltd Co) and my job involves a lot of meeting with clients. Am I able to claims the costs of drinks during these meetings as a business expense?
I would normally meet people in coffee shops (e.g. Starbucks) or in a bar (only during the day - as I realise that if I had a receipt with a time stamped in the evening that it would be slightly dubious!).
Thanks
Alex

It does not matter when you meet your clients - if your business demands an evening meeting, so be it. You can include the cost of drinks as long as they are business meetings.0
