    Hi Shell

I have changed my username but kept up with your progress.

Well done with the garden and house moving. It can't have been easy doing it on your own but I hope it will get easier.

    Keep your chin up honey.

Hi Shel - if you don't mind me asking, what was the 'tough time' that you went through earlier this year? I am relatively new to MSE so don't know much of your story...

Hi Shel - a very kind poster sent me a PM to say what you had been through. It's great to see you are back posting, and I hope you didn't take any offence to me asking the question.

I hope you are settling in nicely to your new home :)

It's great to see you back Shel and am glad to see that you are bearing up under the circumstances. Fab news about the house move too and its great to hear that you are getting the garden under control - have a look on the RHS website as they sometimes have free activities on and sometimes will send you free seeds, I did something with them earlier this year called How Does Your Garden Grow? which was to encourage me to plant more veg which is kind of hard when you have a small balcony and windowboxes.

    Sending you hugz xx

Think I need a dummies guide to gardens...I was all proud of myself for weeding our new beds when OH asked why I'd dug out the new plants he'd just put in. Apparently in spring there would have been pretty blue flowers trailing over the edge of the raised beds...when they're small and green how was I know to know they weren't more weeds :o
