My partner is bankrupt

Hi
Just some quick advice if anyone can help.
I'm getting married in December. My partner went bankrupt last year and had to sell his car and a few other things to pay off creditors. He received a letter quite recently saying he doesn't owe his creditors anymore and nothing will be deducted from wages.
However, I was just wondering if, when we marry, my possessions will be taken as his and could therefore be used to pay off creditors. I have a mortgage and an ISA but nothing in my partner's name.
Thanks
J

no, your posessions will not be taken...don't worry. just watch joint bank accounts etc as you create a financial association, and therefore would damage your credit rating
good luck with the wedding!0
