ok soo i was looking at the br forms look very confusing lol but anyway i saw a section that said do i have any concern in any wills or something to that effect anyway.....
so am i ment to ask all me relatives if they leaving me money when they die ? or does it mean if someone has died recently and am waiting for there estate to be settled ?
sseems a bit excessive if i have to ask people but dont want to lie onme form or something.

hi there
it just means if you are due to come into any assets soon, eg someone has died and you're named in the will. you don't need to list any potential future wills you may be included in, hope that makes sense
take your time with the forms and ask any questions on here! good luck0 -
thanks that does make sense, just when i read i was thinking i was ment to go ask family what they leaving me or something lol.0

Hi,just beenreading your thread,I/we are mentioned in my mums will. The problem is will the OR contact her to find out the details? She/none of our families know of our financial problems-let alone the fact we are going BR.

hi rennes, they are only interested in wills where the person has passed on, as then whatever is left is an asset if that makes sense?0

Cheers mate, havin a bit of a panic attack then. That is one of the hardest things for us is that no-one knows of our problems. I have enough problems dealing with my own embarrasment, guilt, shame etc, without having to deal with someone elses, this forum is the only place I can read and talk about it.
God bless all of you!0 -

honestly it gets easier. at the start i was so worried people would find out but now things are a bit more in perspective. the build up to br is incredibly stressful! take care x0 -
Thanks confused! I think I have been through every emotion there is. I know bankruptcy is our only option now.
The way I deal with it is to turn everything into a joke, try to see the funny side,I know that sounds wierd, and perhaps a little flippant, but it helps me cope. My anxiety is at an all time high at the moment, I keep thinking of all the bad things that will happen, and i need to see things from a different perspective,ie humour,to stop me from spiralling down....sorry to get heavy!0 -

Don't apologise hun, we all have different coping mechanisms. If that works for you then go with it. Im a right worrier myself, and can get myself in such a state over things. I keep saying, if it hasn't actually happened, its not worth wasting the energy on.
If BR is your only option, then you are completely justified in what you are doing. You might not think it, but you are dealing with your problems, have found a solution and one day will look back and wonder why you put yourself through all the emotional guilt. You can do it hun xxx0 -
Thanks angiepange,at the moment we are in a failing dmp with cccs, when we first called them they were great and I thought 'yes' our prayers have been answered, all our problems will dissapear. Then i lost my job, hubbys work dried up and here we are,we are overdrawn in the bank and a few dd/so have been dishonoured. The only thing keeping us going is BR. After br we have no intention whatsoever of getting credit again, the only thing i wish for is normality and to laugh and enjoy life again,I have read all your threads with interest,I take alot of comfort from other peoples experiences, you have always been there for me,and i hope one day I can offer my advice and support to others in the same situation, knowing i have helped someone will make this all seem worthwhile x0
