question about quidco

hi there i dont know if this is the right forum to post this on but im curious about quidco. ]

i have just signed up and had a look around and set up my bank details on it and wanted to try something tonight
it says theres £1.50 for completed car insurance quotes through gocompare which i was doing anyway.
so i did this through quidco and nothing seems to have been added to my account. how long does this take? am i doing something wrong? any advice?

Sometimes takes a while to track, sometimes days or even weeks.

awwww really. i wanted to try something to get instant tonight, mostly to check im doing it right.
not to sound stupid but can you tell me exactly how to do it.
i clicked on the link and it said 'you are going through quidco in 5 seconds)
and then redirected me to the site. is this right

what happens when the money is in quidco account. how long does it take to go to your bank account

I usually get an email from quidco acknowledging the transaction. Also on the quidco page for each merchant it tells you how long their tracking and payment averages times are. Go compare have a fast tracking speed, but don't seem to payout for a couple of months. Quidco used to tell you how long to wait before putting in a query, but I can't remember the timescale off the top of my head.
Sounds like you're doing it right so far.
You have to choose the payment level for it to go into your bank account. I have mine set at £20 - I don't know if there's a minimum payment level or what the default setting is.

thanks elsien, i havent had any emails from quidco to say ive done anything, im getting confused

Try doing a Kelkoo search - you normally get a tracking email within an hour

Remember it may be months (depending on the retailer) before you get any money.

Quidco do 2 payment runs a month. The minimum is £1.01 but may be set higher by yourself. Did you choose BACS payment or PayPal?

Also remember to include the £5 annual fee that Quidco charge too.

Not that I'm bothered - I'm about £475 up this year from Quidco!

Sometimes things never track & in my experience sometimes they will track & validate & you are still declined your payment............ :mad:

From Quidco's T&C for gocompare, "You are required to click on a company quote in order to complete the quote comparison." Did you do that. As for getting paid it took 22 months to get cash back from the RAC when I took out car insurance.
