Hello everyone, have been reading the wedding board for a while and picked up some very good ideas so thanks guys :T. I ordered my flowers from a lady on ebay recommended by someone here and they were amazing.
I have been engaged for about a year and decided last month that if we didnt start sorting things out then we would never arrange it so I just went for it and did it over a weekend. My problem is that I have not been to many weddings nor are any of my friends married so do not have much experience. So am I missing anything here:
Registrar - booked
Venue for ceremony - booked
Venue for reception - booked
BBQ - booked
DJ- booked
Bouncy castle for the kids - To be booked
Flowers - bought
photographer - booked
car - booked - a really cute morris minor convertible
Cupcake tower - booked
6 x suit hire for the fellas - booked
Rings - bought
Wedding dress - going shopping on saturday
Invitations - bought
We have done the above for 110 people and managed to get it in for £3500 without the dress. I know that I may want to decorate the room and stuff but not sure I am that bothered about that. I also know I probably need to factor in some drinks for the guests
I am just really worried that there is something glaringly obvious that I have forgotton, we are not having bridesmaids or anything
Thanks everyone

Wedding night accommodation? Honeymoon? Travel between ceremony and reception, both for wedding party and guests?
Also, depending on time of the BBQ, you might need to provide food for the evening.
Don't forget your underwear and accessories, including shoes, jewellery, hair ornaments. And hair and make up - even if you are doing it yourself you may have to buy things.:heart2::heart2::heart2:Engaged to my lovely man since 27th April 2010:heart2::heart2::heart2:0 -
Are you having any sort of table decorations? candles, flowers etc? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

Hi guys
Thanks for replies, invitations are bought, honeymoon we will be going on later in the year, car is sorted for travel between and guests are all fine to make their own way there. Not sure what to do about wedding night accom because our reception venue is 1 minute walk from our house so we will prob go home to save a bit of cash. My mum will be taking my son for the night

Flowers are all sorted for the venue. I am not going to have candles as there will be about 20 children there and I will only worry
Do you know I didnt even think about underwear or hair!! I think I have been so caught up in the other stuff I forgot I might want to look nice as well ha ha
Wedding is at 4pm so bbq wont be until about 6ish - we are trying to go for quite a chilled out day to keep costs down
Thanks guys this is great xx0 -
