Costco offers - e.g. NAVMAN icn530 for £140.99 includes European maps (merged)

Just received new Costco passport - amost the offers is a NAVMAN icn530 for £140.99 this includes a CD with European maps. UK and Ireland already loaded. Cheapest I can find elsewhere is around the £230 - £240 mark.

Available from October 23 - 29

The vouchers are normally avalbale at the entrance if you don't have one sent out to you.

I see you are in Scotland, which Costco did you join at?

I registered in Edinburgh and had to goto the store to get the last passport, so was wondering if they were going to post this one out or if I would have to go in again.

Glasgow store - I have received 2 separate ones this year in the post. They are alos normally available at the door as you go in. The red one hasn't finished yet, the blue one just arrived starts Oct 16th. Some other good stuff too.

Be interested to see if the passport deal extends to English stores (existing one is just coming to an end). Funnily enough, at the time you placed the original posting I was just looking at the price of them in Costco, and sighing that they only seemed to do the more expensive Navman 7xx - had a budget of max £200.

Here's hoping...

No store code on blue passport so should be . They have split it into two this year.. each just as thick as the one last year - so more offers .. it starts starts 16th Oct.

costco passport offers are always nationwide - I had mine in the post this morning - (Birmingham)

I bought one of these (actually a 550) a short while ago, and telephoned Navman to ask a question. I was informed that the new 2006 updated maps were due to be released soon, but that they would not be a free upgrade...


Thus, you would be getting (I think) 2 year old maps in a brand new device and have to pay for the latest ones.

Personally I waiting for the new maps to be rolled out before I buy....
