cheapest price for a laptop or netbook

I am looking to buy my daughter a laptop or netbook, she has asked for any laptop as long as it has windows 7 and can play youtube, I haven't a clue about either of these but hoping to get one as cheap as poss.

Was £199 last year on offer, really pleased with them, kids use them for facebook, itunes, youtube, etc, etc you also get them in pink, white or black. Seems a really good price £161.99.

That machine doesn't run Windows 7 as the OP's daughter requested. It runs Windows XP.

edit: in my opinion it isn't even worth half the asking price.

There are already a couple of threads about the same thing on the Techie forum. I know because I am on the look-out myself. Argos got rid of one of their models on their ebay clearance site for £119 this afternoon, but I just missed it before they sold out. Keep looking!

stuff.tv provide a great top ten list of netbooks. they are the writers for stuff magazine so its a great list where they combine quality and price. Asus do some great laptops.

each to their own, but in MY opinion, I think it's a great little notebook, for the price, and I know the link I listed was windows XP, windows 7 is also available at £199.
Maybe you could suggest something for the OP rather than put others suggestions down.
