A question about Boots ordering

Hope this is the right board to post this, it seemed about the most appropriate. I hope someone can help.

I have just received in the post from Boots, a mailing with some coupons in, including one coupon that gives £10 worth of points for every £50 spent instore. It says on the back that it's not valid for use on Boots.com.

Now my problem is this: most of the stuff I plan to buy from Boots in the run-up to Christmas, consists of toys that are largely not available instore, only online. I was wondering if:
a) it's possible to order instore, and if so
b) it would be possible to use this voucher to pay upfront for stuff ordered instore??

Any help gratefully received!

  • Hiya yes you can order your items instore. It helps if you have all the catalogue numbers. Saves having to trawl through the xmas book. If you did it on a points night (there should be one coming up in your area hopefully) then you would actually get 1200 points per £50 spend. HTHs

Have you seen this thread on the grabbit board?

There is a 1000 point code on a £100 spend that when added at checkout applies the points twice so you get 2200 points back on a £100 spend.

This is equivalent to what you would get on a shopping evening if you don't wan't to wait. Also some of the mailing vouchers state they can't be used on the xmas shopping evenings. And while they may work its hit and miss getting a nice SA to scan the voucher for you.
