I'm thinking of buying a sax from this company - are they any good?
Has anyone used them? I would get in deep do-do from other half if I buy a rubbish sax on a whim........cheers!

I answered a similar thread a month or so ago but it seems to have vanished in the board upgrade. I bought an Alto Sax for my wife from Saxophones UK a few years ago and got a great deal on a refurbished, ex-rental Trevor James Sax. I think I got it for about £200 below list price for new and it was only 3 or 6 months old. They sell new sax's there too. If you want an ex-rental, you need to ring up and ask.
Also, its worth reading this info on cheap saxophones. Also, some more general info hereHe huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0 -
Sound like a good company, but its not the best thing to buy on the net, you really need to blow it. If its for a beginner I would rent for a while.0
