Went to a farmers market today and picked up some pheasants thinking i could make some sort of roast with 1 today, but now wondering how i actually cook it (pref roast) the most basic way poss please as i only have basic veg and herbs in the house. Thanks for any help.0

sorry, tryingverytrying, but mine were breasts only;):eek: , VERY reduced on christmas eve! never had pheasant before but thought recipe sounded good AND easy! have to say it is smelling RATHER good at the mo!!!!:D

it smells yummy and will report later too, i got mine from the farmers market 2 for £4.50 and a pigion for £1 just to have a try! Thought they were pretty good value.0 -

My OH goes game shooting so we get pheasant till it's coming out of our ears.
Tend to cook mine in a red wine casserole.
