How do you attach things to Pew ends?

Hi All

We want to put wicker hearts to the pew ends as we can't afford flowers and personally, I'm not a fan of bows.

How do you attach them to the pew ends? I'm guessing that the church won't be ok for me to do it using pins.......

I'd make a loop of ribbon and just hang them over - would that work?

most pew ends have a little hook on them where they would attach the flowers. Go and have a look at what's there in your church. I would've thought that a ribbon loop at the top of the heart would both look lovely, but would also hang on that hook.

You hang them over the end of the pew ...usually with a ribbon or something like a wire if you want a more invisible look...before you invest in all your pew ends make one up and take it to the church to see how it hangs....a florist may also be able to get you hooks similar to those used for flower ends...

there are 83 listed on ebay under "wicker heart"....

We're having bows put on the pew ends, provided by our florist, who said she is using something called black tac to stick them on. Apparently its a lot strong than blu tac so we won't have anything falling off and won't damage the pews at all. I don't know any more about it, but it might be worth looking into.

i got wicker hearts from a person on hitched 10 for £20! with matching ribbon x
