I recently bought a refurb acer laptop running win7, my problem is when I try to burn music to cd using media player, it burns a small percent of it and then ejects the disc , rendering the disc useless, any ideas?

Buy decent quality media. Check the manufacturers website to see if there's a firmware upgrade for the drive.0
