I was wondering if anyone knew where to find samples of the above perfume? My local boots and perfume shop dosnt stock it, so id like to sample it first as ive been saving up for a nice perfume.

Also, if you know a realible online site i can get it from,that would be great too

Counters and houses now only do samples of new fragrances.
No5 came out in 1920, so they will no doubt say easy to test on a counter.

You could try phoning one of the boutiques look online for Chanel fragrance and phone up and ask.

Personally I cannot wear No5 it turns plastic on me, but love No22.

I would strongly suggest you do try it before investing. It smells wonderful on my mother but dreadful on me.

My husband splashed out on a huge bottle of Chanel No 5 for me. I really hated it. It was awful on me. I could not tell him though and had to use the dreaded stuff!

I feel it is a very heavy fragrance and I know it has been around for a long time but it smells old fashioned. Sorry, just my opinion.

If you are desperate to try it, why not have a look at Perfume Parlour. They do replica oils. There is a big thread on here regarding the site. I obviously have not bought the Chanel No 5 from them but I have had lots of other fragrances and always been very happy. For a very small amount of money you could get a vial of oil to try.
