Hello All,
I like many others that look on this site get tottally confused by all these laptop deals that are flying about but I have just stumbled across this one
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...ory_oid=-27749
Its the Samsung M70
It seems to show that it is better than half price and the spec dosnt look tooo bad. can anyone tell me if there are any bad points too it??
Price is showing as 762.97 reduced from 1539.97
19" Widescreen Gloss detachable display
128mb dedicated graphics
1gig RAM
Intel Pentium M 750 processor 1.86GHz
80 GB Hard Drive
2 MB Cache
533 MHz FSB
Dual Layer DVD RW SuperMulti
I have looked at a few reviews and itscores quite weel (8.1/10 and 7.7/10) so seems like a good deal

Try that one
I want the laptop for using around the house as the missus gets sick of me disapearing upstairs for a couple of hours to check this site. I want to be able to use the machine for surfing internet, watching DVDs in bed, playing football manager in front of the TV and the odd powerpoint presentation. I like the thought of been able to use the screen wiith my desktop as well as I only have a bulky 15" monitor at the moment.
Will this machine allow me to connect to Blueyonder wirelessley with a wireless router and do I need dual core for the things I want to do?0 -
Looks epensive to me definately seen better deals ie dual core.0

Nah thats kaput too

That works, and its half price as spec is a bit outta date most importantly cpu is 2 generations behind.0 -
yeah it was probably £1500 about a year and a half ago. Presumably this is PC Worlds new ploy to con people, the previous one being 'Laptops now just £299' when actually there was only one of those allocated to the whole south of england.0

Crikey it's got a 19" widescreen.
You'd need a suitcase to lug that around!!
Not a bad price for the spec. This is proper desktop replacement stuff and you won't get it for less than £1000 elsewhere.
...seem to be a lot of Trolls out tonight!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Can anyone suggest a better alternative for the uses I list above?
It looks like this one may be a bit more than most because of the massive screen
I would like stand alone graphics card and 1 gig memory apart from that im not sure??0 -
You can still buy that laptop for £1,423

Cheapest is £998.75 here http://www.digiuk.com/productdetail.asp?id=72880
