Possible Asda misprice?

Just visited my local Asda and noticed that the "Extra Special" range has been revamped and lots of the products are on special offer.

One particular item, pasta sauces (sundried tomatoes and stuff) were £1.48, on an end aisle. This appears to be the normal price for them. However, the large "Special Offer signs" had been there and only the empty plastic cases now remained. The other stuff on the end of the aisle was all reduced to £1.

I wonder if these were too, but were scanning higher? Too late for me, obviously, but could be worth someone else having a go.

I know it's only a £2 gift card, but it's better that nowt.

Make sure you absolutely insist on getting the giftcard. I've had to almost shout for it on the only 2 ocassions I have been back to CS with an overcharge. Scandalous company IMHO.

First time CS bod totally denied their existence, second time CS said she wasn't obliged to give me a gift card as I hadn't actually left the building. !!!!!!?
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

    10 jars @ 1.48 = £14.80
    less refund of difference £4.80 = £10.00

    plus £2.00 giftcards x 10 £20.00

You get your 10 jars for the correct £1 per and make £20.00 clear profit to go spend in Asda on your next misprice.

    Every little helps!

Thanks for reminding me...I've got a £20 gift card which I keep forgetting about. ;)
