I am going to declare bankrupt. I co-habit with my partner, we rent but only his name is on the tenancy and we have checked the rental agreement re BR and there is no clause that we can see on there.
When I declare BR will my partner be involved at all? We do not have anything in joint names etc, no joint bank account.
Does it affect him in anyway? On the forms it asks for people living at the property etc. We are wanting to marry and I still have a house with my ex-husband that is in neg equity and has arrears plus other debts I am unable to pay since the divorce and am needing a fresh start.
Any advice would be well received, thankyou

If there is only his name on the tenancy then the OR will not notify the landlord.
As long as you have no joint bank accounts etc, then he should not be affected.0
