Hi
Thinking of selling and buying bigger place but was wondering if you need to show so many wage slips from your job. My husband is changing employers in a month - would this matter?
Some hazy memory from when I bought was I needed to show 3 months slips and my contract.....would it matter if from different ones?
Anyone have any advice/knowledge?
Much appreciated.

I *think* mortgage companies are often nervous about lending to people who have just started a new job - particularly if there is a probationary period to be served out.0

Thanks Yorkie1 - I also had that feeling. Better for husband to phone them and check, I think then. Cheers.0

I have applied for a mortgage with nationwide and just started a new job.. they said its absolutely fine they just want to see your contract of employment and they contact your employer for a reference.. i have heard abbey do the same.. they said to me that people change jobs all the time so its fine im not sure all mortgage lenders are the same!0

Barclays won't accept the mortgage. They asked me to complete my probation period (6 months) and then re-submit.
