hi can anyone tell me how much OR or A I B take from your surpluss someone told me they take the lot is that true:eek:

    hi phil not br yet but getting close to it now:eek: so many questions and decisions to make as i cant go down lila route just over as i work 47 hrs a week and get a pension of £88 a month .just recieved small claims summons last week for £482 council over payment spoke to money advice scotland and they advised me to ignore it then they will send a charge for payment which i need for b.r you will have seen my reply to ipa and overtime i dont have a set wage as i could have extra £100 one week VERY RARE or nothing extra for months i know aib dont have set allowances for ipa but i am scared i get ipa that i cant afford to pay the biggest worry is grocery shopping i detest it but as wife says we have to eat if we go to aldie its aprox £50 and i hate aldi go to asda and its £70 to £80
    i just dont know how i am going to cope with this yea its my fault for getting in this mess i am stressed out with it all and trying to hide my feelings from my wife which is very hard

    No point in going from post to post hoping to get a different answer.... one you will like...

    You would be better calling up the AiB Scotland they are very helpful and will answer all of your questions regarding an IPA/O

    AiB are adamant that they will consider each case on its own merits – they do not take a fixed percentage and say that they are prepared to be flexible
    So be prepared to argue with them to make sure you have enough to live on.
