Help me choose a Pension please

Scottish Widow have apparently made a bu-bu and lost my work pension paperwork and now I have to choose a new pension, they'll waiver fees and backdate profits. They have given me a choice, see below:

I would love to go through them all to find the one with greatest profit over the 12 months, but I am struggling for time. Your assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You are asking us all how long is a piece of string.

If you want to know past performance of SW funds, look at a website called 'Trustnet' that can give you everything you require, and more.

If you want to know what funds to invest in going forward, then I, too, have the Scottish Widows Fund Guide and they are reasonably clear about what the risk is for each fund. None of us knows (because you haven't told us) what your attitude to risk is, or what the timescales of your proposed investment are. All you have told us is that you want to invest in gold.

JPM Natural Resources will be almost totally about the companies dealing in Oil, Natural Gas, and minerals. Any exposure to gold will be infinitessimal.

If, however, you intend (as you state) to invest it in Gold, then I fear that Scottish Widows is probably not the best place to go.

Are you actually asking us to say which (if any) of the numerous funds you have mentioned are in gold? If so, I think the answer is none of them.

was the one i tended to invest in and indeed it is best perfoming over last 12 months.
