That's not bad, but may I suggest you wait a while as you may get a 19" for a similar price - see this Hanns G 19" TFT widescreen @ £105 delivered for example. OK, it's gone up to £129.99 at present but may fall again

I still prefer the 1280x1024 of a 17" over 1440x900 of the widescreen one. I miss the height when working on documents and drawings.
And - there's always the Medion 17" refurb monitors at £79.0 -

Just a point re the Medion refurbs from Medion Shop UK - they have only a 90 day warranty versus the 3 years of the new Aldi/Medion.
So given the refurb has P&P too, the refurbs are probably poor value for money over a 3 year period.
Plus hopefully the £99 monitor is included in Aldi's usual 12 months total satisfaction guarantee - or return it to get your money back - IF you kept the receipt!0 -
£100 for a 17" TFT is standard price these days.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

So please quote some sources as I havent found them:
eg Dabs.com just 1 of 75 17" monitors is under £100 and then +P&P
Ebuyer.com have none of their 50 17" TFT at under £104
Novatech's 19 begin at £116
So to me £100 doesn't seem to be a standard price, but rather a BOTTOM end of the market price wise.0 -
Amazon have this 19" Hanns TFT for £119.99 with free delivery:

Hm, it says its 1024x1024 resolution - I guess thats a typo? Seems a decent price if its a 1280 x 1024 resolution monitor - although I've done no research on it as yet.0
