Terms & Conditions

1. No purchase necessary.
2. This free prize draw ("Promotion") is open only to residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over, except employees of Giovanna Rana, their families, their agencies or anyone else professionally connected to the promotion.
3. The Promotion will close at midnight on the 31st January 2011.
4. Only one entry per person is allowed.
5. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of entries. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Incomplete or duplicate entries will be disqualified and will not be counted.
6. To enter the Promotion, simply enter your email address at giovannirana.co.uk/Facebook. All correctly completed entries from qualifying entrants will be automatically entered in the draw.
7. Prize: The prize includes return flights for two adults to Verona (Italy), two nights' accommodation at a 4 star hotel (double or twin room) including breakfast, transfer fees between the airport and the hotel in Italy, and dinner at the Giovanni Rana Tre Corone restaurant on one evening.
8. Holiday dates (and reservations at the Giovanni Rana Tre Corone) are subject to availability at the time of booking and stays must include a Saturday night. The prize includes all taxes and booking fees which relate to the flights. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prize where applicable.
9. The prize does not include personal expenditure or costs other than those specifically described in these terms and conditions. The prize winners will be responsible for arranging their own transport to the departure airport within the UK or ROI (as applicable). The winner and their travel companion must ensure they have a valid passport and that they obtain relevant visas and vaccinations for their holiday.
10. The winner must book the holiday via the Promoter before 31 October 2011 and the holiday must be taken before 14 December 2011. The holiday must be booked at least 30 days before departure. Blackout dates apply, during which the holiday cannot be taken, including: the Christmas and New Year period (15 December to 2 January), Easter (Good Friday – Easter Monday) and all UK Bank Holidays.
    If the winner fails to book the holiday by 31 October 2011, the prize will be forfeited.
11. After booking, no amendments are permitted. In exceptional circumstances, amendments may be considered; however, entrants understand and agree that such amendments (and any associated costs) do not form part of the prize.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the prize and, unless agreed otherwise in writing, the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
13. One winning entrant will be drawn at random (under the supervision of an independent person), within 7 days of the closing date, from all correctly completed entries received. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw date.
14. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 28 days of the notification the prize will be redrawn.
15. The Promoter's decisions will be final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence in connection with this draw will be entered into.
16. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
    • a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion, and
    • b) any changes to or supply of the prize, and
    • c) any act or default of any third party supplier, which are beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this Promotion in exceptional circumstances outside their control.
18. The winner may be required to take part in any publicity resulting from this promotion. Winner agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
19. For the name and county of the winner send a self addressed envelope to the Promoters address within 3 months after the closing date.
20. The Promoter will use each winner's, and each entrant's, personal details for the purpose of administering this Promotion. Please see our Privacy Policy for further details. Please note that your data may be processed outside of the EU.
21. The Promoter and its business partners may also use the details provided by entrants in order to contact entrants about their products and services. By entering this Promotion you are indicating your agreement to this unless you have opted out.
22. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
