Teenage Pamper Hamper ideas needed plz

Hi everyone, not posted on here for a while.

No idea what to get my teenage neice this year as her birthday is the 17th December aswell.

I was thinking of doing a pamper hamper for christmas but I have no idea what to include in it.

So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could put in it and/or any ideas what to get her for her birthday, never had to buy for a teenager before lol

thank you very much in advance

    Hi,

I did my friend a pamper hamper last year, included face masks, scented candles, nail polishes, a dvd/cd to watch/listen whilst pampering. Some bubble bath or something from Lush? Probably not suitable depending on age of teenager but I included a miniature bottle of wine in too. Erm, perhaps a voucher for a facial or similar at the local beauty salon? HTH

Foot soak, and foot cream, nail varnish, nail varnish remover, small box of chocolates, magazine or book? Hair masks were always a favourite for me when i was a teen and had the time ;)

  • You never mentioned her age or what interests she has. Pamper hampers can be expensive (especially if you buy LUSH!) This is a personal suggestion based on a girl in her late teens rather like myself in interests - Not that I ever have the time for breakfast in bed or a pamper hamper! Don't feel obliged to take it.

    For one hamper, let's say her birthday I'd do the following;

    • Fluffy dressing gown (cheapest I've seen is £10 in Primark)
    • Fluffy slippers (couple of quid or so)
    • Soft PJs (£5 - £10 depending on style)
    • Eye mask (think sleep on an aeroplane)
    • Essential oil burner, tea lights and lavender oil (Home Bargains and poundland do these fairly cheaply)
    • Candles (We get most of ours from the local supermarket for £2 each! Primark ones are nice too.)
    • Gossip mags.
    • Face mask or a recipe for a HM one.
    • Nail polish and all the kit for that e.g. remover, small manicure set, emery boards.
    • Moisturiser.
    • Mini cosmetics or hair products.
    • Body brush
    • If not underage, a small bottle of wine or failing that some hot chocolate or herbal teas.
For Christmas I'd do a breakfast in bed hamper - have you ever met a teenager who gets up early when they don't have to?

    • Minature jams and marmalades (you could HM these!)
    • Toast rack (£1 from a charity shop, a little more if not preloved)
    • Posh or HM bread with mini or posh butters
    • Nice cereal or croissants etc
    • HM muffins
    • Magazine or newspaper
    • Cute mug, perhaps with hot chocolate sachets and mini marshmallows
    • Posh/unusual juice
    • Selection of teas and coffees
    • A teapot? Alarm clock?
    • Do not disturb sign!

Well I was engaged. Until we separated on 8th March :( Here's hoping that having a break will help us solve all our problems. Until then I'm a single mum on a tight budget :(

How about a small hamper on her birthday of nail polishes, removers, nail files, toe seperators, cotton wool etc and then a hamper of makeup / smellies for Christmas.

Difficult to know what to buy - but as I always have to buy lots of presents I try and make them look good, whilst not spending loads of money. Not always successful, but I keep trying. Done an Italian cooking hamper for my FIL - some free cookery books in the bottom, a le-cruset oven mit (in the sale) and then some Italian pasta mixes from TK Maxx. Looks great.

TK Maxx have some great things if you have the time to look - Don't go at the weekends!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
