I Wanna complain

to debenhams, not sure if this is where this should be posted though. Cant find an email anywhere for them and staff manning the phones are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Any one help?
I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

    Im actually looking foe an email address, for an instore purchase. I bought a dress and took it home to find the security tag on, hubby took it back (20 mile round trip so very peeved at this) and was made to feel like a criminal snicking it back in store, they asked to see reciept - normal yes but then they asked which counter he bought it from, what time he bought it etc. He felt very uncomfortable and very angry at the line of questionning. What gets me the most is we spent £95 on it cos its for a wedding, and if I didnt need it for this weekend id take it back and never shop in there again!!

  • The Chief Executive of Debenhams is Rob Templeman and I would always suggest a letter rather than an email. Send it to their Head Office and address it to him.

    Seems rather silly as you had the receipt.That would have had the time on it and the till.You could also contact the Store Manager,or the stores security dept for an explaination-dont expect a sensible answer though.We all know its Possible for a tag to be left on and not to be activated on leaving,it happens a lot.Did you pay by credit card incidentally?
