Mis-shapen plastic container lids

Options
The best way to make them fit the container again is to boil a pan of water, placing the mis-shapen lid on top. Just leave for a minute or two and the heat causes the lids to become soft and pliable enough to refit their container.
I've tried this a few times and it works ok.

Cheers, my husband has mishapened my rather expensive one from M&S had I paid full price of £8. Got it in the sale for £2 though.
