I was given a Medion laptop but the charging is
intermittent. I think it's the power jack that is
at fault.
Can anyone recommend a repairer in either
Antrim or Lisburn area?

Have you tried Mplex at 162 Longstone Street Lisburn? They have a laptop repair centre which I think is based in Belfast but you can drop the machine off at the Lisburn branch.0

If you're able to travel to Carrick then I can recommend Microcare, he's a friend but I wouldn't recommend him unless I knew he was good.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Happy to help where I can, but for what you are saying replacing Internal parts is not something I would undertake, but recommend a crowd in Carrickfergus. Belfast Laptop Repairs, Ellis St.0 -
There is a place in McKeown St in Lisburn (off Antrim St) that apparently has a no fix no fee repair service. The Daily Mail

I'll second that. Good work for a reasonable price
