According to our article, how many grams of cocoa powder do you need to make our delicious gooey chocolate cake recipe?
30g
20g
10g


here

Ingredients:
  • <LI class=ingredient>175g dark chocolate broken into squares <LI class=ingredient>200g butter, unsalted <LI class=ingredient>200g self-raising flour <LI class=ingredient>300g light muscovado sugar <LI class=ingredient>30g cocoa powder <LI class=ingredient>1tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs beaten
For the chocolate cake filling:
  • <LI class=ingredient>40g golden icing sugar, sifted, like Billington's <LI class=ingredient>20g cocoa powder, sifted
    <LI class=ingredient>30g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1tbsp water
For the chocolate cake icing:
  • <LI class=ingredient>60g golden icing sugar filling, sifted
  • 20g cocoa powder sifted

  • I know it's late and my maths might not be up to much but I count 20g for the filling and 20g for the icing, is that not 40g in total?

    The ingredients state 30g and as 40 is not even an option I guess I'll be going with 30g.

    I must be having a really blonde moment because I make it 70g :eek:

    It's 30g for the sponge, 20g for the filling and 20g for the icing.

    Unless they mean just the sponge cake and not the rest :undecided
