Has anybody used tradeyourgames.co.uk? I've been on their website and got quotes for 3 ds games, and have printed off their postage address sheet and Items Sold the them sheet, but not sure whether to send them the games? I've also been on musicmagpie.co.uk (they've been on this home page so I know their genuine), but their quotes were lower than tyg.

First things to look for on any website are a contact address and a phone number, preferably geographical. This site's got both. However the address is hidden behind a box number which makes tracing the location very difficult.
The next thing to do is to check the website's Domain Registration. Here it is:

The details match up but it's still got that pesky box number though. But at least it provides a name: Inderjit Sangha
What about reviews? People aren't very complimentary at Review Centre. Complaints about that box number!

It seems they are associated with another website called Tradeyourstuff. Here's the Domain Registration:

At least Ms Sangha has provided her (hopefully) real address this time. I haven't checked Google Street View so it would be interesting to know what sort of building it is.
I wouldn't use them personally. The Box Number suggests they've got something to hide and the reviews are poor.0 -
If its any consolation, ive used them and theyve been a very good option to musicmagpie as they offer more for games..
The address to send to is the address on the print out form.
I do use ebay first and foremost though for selling my games as I get more for them, but the ones that dont sell on ebay, ive sold to tradeyourgames.
Got payment within 7 days by bank transfer.
As for them having a PO BOx, I dont think thats an issue, Play.com only has a PO Box address - maybe as they dont want theives coming to their warehouse to know where all stock is!:cool:0 -
Play's Domain Registration details. Now the thieves know where to go...

thank you for getting back to me, I'm still not sure whether to send them or not, but then if I post them by registered post, they can't say they never received them and not pay me! plus I've saved the address and form onto my computer to prove that they know what I'm sending and how much they going to pay me! BUT I may try ebay first!
Thank you again x0 -
Sadly the caution mentioned above is appropriate.
If you go to ReviewCentre and other similar sites you will see that most people have had abysmal experiences of TradeYourGames and TradeYourStuff, which are the same company.
I 'sold' my valuable games to this company and never got my money even though they acknowledged they'd received my games. I tried to contact the CEO, Indy Sangha, dozens of times by email, landline phone, mobile phone, SMS, and he never got back to me.
I lost my money.
This is a rogue outfit I'm afraid to say.0 -
I decided not to send them the cd's in the end, instead I'm selling them on facebook, get more money for them there that the above AND moneymagpie (or watever it's called lol) x0

I have tried repeatedly to email info@tradeyourgames.co.uk and never get a reply. I have called the number on your site several times and nobody picks it up.
I would urge anybody considering using this company to at try to contact them first and you will see they never reply - that should convince you of what they are like.
Coopdivi has wisely referred people to ReviewCentre where you can see here what people think of Tradeyourgames/Tradeyourstuff: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews158356.html . You can see how many people are furious at Indy Sangha and his team of jokers. Enough said.0 -

Agreed. They are cowboys. I had the same experience was you. They never reply to emails or pick up the phone.
I even tried contacting the Manager (not that it means anything as this is a one-man-band operation!) Indy Sangha and he never once bothered to get back to me despite all my emails and phone calls.0 -
