    lmao banned from Tesco!!
got a great suggestion though how about them starting up a diabetic area instore, come easter, christmas or just general treats they have no diabetic confectionary and I think thats discrimination against diabetic kids, surely they deserve treats too :) rant over lol but the do have a gluten free area, chinese area, polish area, bet there's more diabetics in UK than those three groupsput together.

Well done getting an apology :D

well i for one wouldnt go near the diabetic sweets/chocs, never touch products that say for diabetics, includes sweets, chocs, ice-cream etc best just having a normal treat now and again ;) good suggestion though :D

Brilliant suggestion but having had type 1 diabetes for 14 years I have to agree with the later suggestion of a 'normal' treat now and again! Out of principal though it would be amazing to have our own corner of goodies..... that taste horrendous :rotfl:
Ps well done OP, my dad had a rant at Tesco about the trolleys being dirty,:rotfl: he was fed up of pushing a trolley with a sticky handle and concerned about my children, obviously his very dear grandchildren getting germs from the handle!! a phone call from the store manager later resolved the issue and all the handles were clean on his next visit to the store....but unfortunately for him no gift card!!! ;)

I hope you don't mind but I really laughed when reading your post Gazzarh. It must not have been funny for you at the time, but looks like you are having the last laugh yourself. Well done for taking it to the top and enjoy your spend. Personally, after coffee and cake with the gm and apologies from all concerned, I would get the gm to walk you around the supermarket pointing out all the 1p products. If he can't do it immediately give him 10 minutes while you have another coffee:rotfl:

Best laugh of the day, thank you.
  • i bet they are worried your going for legal advice. i dont think £30 is enough to be honest. well done tho :)

Further to my posts in grabbit about tesco and the 1p deals for those of you who were addicted to that thread as much as me, and my subsequent bad experience and ban from a certain store after buying 1p items(which as we know according to staff in tesco, is illegal to sell these items at 1p:rotfl:), after sending a very very lengthy complaint to ceos of tesco and then a reminder today about it i have recieved an email back today.
The basics of it are and i have this in writing from tesco folks.
1.the 1p items are ,(mostly-cuponk anyone lol) genuine deals and are allowed to be sold in store it is NOT a glitch.
    2. An apology from the store GM who has retrained his staff in how they dealt with me. (i wonder how long that telling of went hmmmm)
    3. I am now unbanned from the store and should never have been banned in the first place.
4 The win bit- they have sent a tesco gift card to my address loaded with £30 to apologise.
see told you it was massive. an apology from tesco.
Furthermore the store gm wants to meet with me to discuss it personally to help resolve all my concerns. any one have any suggestions they want bringing up i will happily pass it along. cant wait to have my say and get a personal apology from all involved, may even be cheeky enough to ask for the 2 cuponk games they wouldnt let me buy and the 4 coffees they refused me to sell them to me for 6p.

    This is just brilliant!! :D

how about suggesting to them that they train their staff properly in the first place and keep them in the loop about their 'offers' so this kind of thing doesn't happen in the future?

had to :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:though hun... it really is a massive win! xx

Great That You got a result
Think £30 is disgusting amount considering what you had to put up with
but probably as good as it gets from Tesco RUBISH!!!!
PS hope you manage to find something for every single penny of it lol
