  • Also in Woman's Own mag. this week there is a "Beauty heroes" survey on page 33 where they ask you to tell them your fav. products eg. best night cream, best bath product etc etc (it's quite a long list!). 500 random peeps who enter their survey will win an Avon Supershock Mascara (worth £8). They say you can complete the survey on their twitter and facebook but I've been to their pages and there is no where to enter the details so guess you'd have to leave it all in a message which would be really hard to fit into a twitter 140 character limit box! If anyone wants more details on doing it that way then drop me a pm and I'll type out the long list of categories they want you to vote on. Otherwise, buy the mag and post it in....which seems the easier route :rotfl:

And, on page 51 of this week's mag. they are giving 8 lucky people £500 in Tesco vouchers. You have to collect tokens from the mag for the next 2 weeks (the 1st token is printed on the page) and then send them in to the address given.

Lastly, there's a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free at WH Smith for any of Richard and Judys Book Club 2010 titles. The lowest priced book is free. Valid instore till Nov. 13.

So, 3 good reasons to buy the mag! :j:j 92p in your newsagents now!! :rotfl::rotfl:I should get a kick back from Woman's Own for this blatent promotion!:rotfl:

  • For your chance to win a night of ghost hunting with ghostly expert Yvette Fielding and her hubby Karl Beattie just tell Best magazine, in no more than 50 words, why you'd love to become a ghost hunter! Send your answer along with your name and address to:

    Best Magazine
    National Magazine Company
    33 Broadwick Street
    London
    W1F 0DQ

It doesn't say what the address header should be but you may want to put something along the lines of "Win a Ghost Hunting Experience" at the top. IMHO :)

Spooky good luck to you all (insert ghost smiley here !!)

I understood it was 1 entry per mobile ,is that per day or just once throughout the competition ?

I think its once per day. Also, only one win per address I believe so you'll need to have an alternative ready if you win twice ;)

I have re-read the 1st post and I don't see that anyone covers the Herald Scotland.

The Herald has 5 iPhones to be won by 4pm today. Winners will be notified by 5pm. The prize is an iPhone 4 16GB.

Which Scotsman is credited with inventing the telephone?
    Answer - Alexander Graham Bell

Call 0901 2210255 and leave your answer and details, calls cost 25p per call from a BT landline

Text IPHONE1 (space) followed by your answer, name and contact details.

It doesn't say that you have to reside in Scotland to enter. It does say for full competition rules visit www.heraldscotland.com/go/terms :)

    EDIT

    2. Except where stated otherwise in Special Rules, Newsquest competitions are open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over at the closing date of the competition. If Special Rules allow entry by persons below the age of 18, permission from a parent or guardian must be obtained.

    Also worth noting:

    4. Entries must be made only by the methods allowed in Special Rules. Only one entry per person (or per telephone or mobile number, email address, household or postal address as appropriate) is allowed, unless otherwise stated in Special Rules. Where entry to a competition is by premium rate telephone call or text, details of costs will be given.
