This happened to me about 30 times before i cottoned on, so annoying hey but nothing really you can do at the post office end, I send mine now (at the advice of some kind mse'ers) with my details at an angle on the left hand side so there's no confusion with the machines they use - if you search 'returned postcards' in previous threads there are lots of other suggestions too. hth x

To avoid your postcard coming back to you, write the comp address on the right of the card as usual but when you write your details on the left, turn the card around so you are writing sideways, this avoids the automated machinery returning your entry to you by mistake. You can also write your phone number under your post code as that works too.

Its also a good idea to write your address smaller than actual address you're sending it to. I've only ever had 2 returned so far and I also write thankyou underneath my postcode. Good luck. :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I've just found this in a puzzle mag I subscribe to. All the puzzles are entry form only and you can't buy it in the shops hence not posting from it previously.
However, for some reason this comp is postcard only and there's nothing in the t&c's to say it's only open to subscribers so thought i'd post it anyway.
No end date apart from the entry form closing date so used that.

To enter send your answers, name and address on a postcard to:

Sainsbury have a comp with the new cadbury bliss chocolate bar to win special nails inc polishes. there is 1000 to win each day.

    the t&c's are here www.cadbury.co.uk/bliss

and a picture of the polishes here http://www.graziadaily.co.uk/beauty/archive/2010/10/12/the-new-cadbury-bliss-nails-it.htm

Text bliss and then the last 6 digits of the barcode from the bliss chocolate bar to 68600.

I texted a code from a bar bought in tesco yesterday and had a winning text at lunchtime today - 520962 (all the bars I looked at in the box at tesco had the same number on).
