Bit of discussion in HERE about the postal thread, glad has said we can do an expired thread in game over esp for all the expired comps in the postals, would mean we could keep to the one thread and all the comps in here would be current, less pages to work through etc

but looking for feedback on that idea, what does everyone think? not sure if its gonna work but if people think its a good idea then we can give it a go

I'm a bit on the fence with this PPD. While I think it's a really good idea & will keep the board less clogged up, I dont think pople will bother as much to post the expired ones in GO. I certainly dont mind referring an expired comp to game over but I do tend to thank all posts (wether I enter or not) and just start where I left off so I dont often to go back to early pages which might have expired. Also....if we won a comp and searched in GO for OP, would it be as easy to find?
I do like the idea though, its nice of glad to suggest this and I suppose everyone will get used to new changes at some point.

ETA....After reading all the posts in discussions I can now see it makes sense to clear up the board as long as it is maintained by all users. I hope this makes things easier for you PPD as you do so much on here...Korky too. :A I hope you can start entering the comps for yourselves too.

I keep a record of the post number and page number of where I finish each day eg this post is p82 post 1624 so its easy for me to find where I was. If we start deleting posts and send them to GO it would be much more difficult finding where I had got to on the thread.

Its also more work for somebody to send the posts to GO so why bother.
