Grey hair

Im a 43 yr old redhead and noticed past few months, white hairs on the top of my head and also my eyebrows are turning slowly white. they were always sandy coloured before.

Im a light coloured strawberry red head, so Im going to treat myself week after next to three different types of blonde coloured highlights in my hair to cover the grey and brighten the dull colour in my hair.

Its a while since I had it coloured at the hairdresser.
Not sure what to do about my eyebrows though. I will keep them neat and I pencil them over when made up.

My dad has been ill recently so I can only put it down to stress from that and as I have had bad tendonitis in shoulder too which I am getting physio for soon.

Should I take any supplements as my skin and hair are suffering a bit. My periods are getting lighter and even though I am eating healthy i feel as if Im not myself. also moody sometimes and tearful.

I've got a very good friend who is knowledgeable about health and remedies generally. When I was run down, she recommended Centrum multivitamins as a rounded supplement.

I got Centrum Advance 50+, as it was only about £1 more than Centrum "normal", but had higher levels of quite a few of the elements. Pricey, but I got it during a "3 for 2" offer at Boots, so it worked out quite reasonable.

Have you got someone to treat you to a shoulder and scalp massage? There are many elements to it, but as well as the normal massage things, one thing I do at the end is to gently grasp handfuls hair as close to the roots as possible, and tug gently. My relatives and friends find it incredibly relaxing. Annoying thing is that although I can do it to myself, I've never understood why massage is so much more effective when someone else does it!

I will try that centrum advance 50+, I have a friend who does my massage for me but hes moved back to scotland.
I live alone so I have tension all around my neck head and shoulders and its getting worse. I try to massage myself but it is more effective when someone else does it.:)

Do you know any warm up or stretching exercises?

For example, point your shoulder upwards,
    then forwards,
    then downwards,
    then backwards.

Then repeat all that, but do it smoothly, so you're rotating your shoulder in a circle.
Do a couple of circles, then do a couple of circles in the opposite direction.

Try doing it with the other shoulder.
    Do both shoulders together.
Then do them together, but circling in opposite directions.
At this point, it's a dance movement!

Like a lot of redheads, my collars and cuffs don't exactly match - my facial hair is snow white.

I dye my eyebrows and eyelashes (Dylash dark brown for the eyebrows and black for the eyelashes) but I too am getting snowy white hairs appearing around my temples.

I use the Casting colours by L'Oreal, as they are semi permanent. I tend to have fairly hit and miss results with my hair dyeing attempts and waiting for the semi permanent dye to fade isn't such a hassle.

There is usually some sort of special offer on at Boots or Superdrug etc, so once you find the right shade and get the technique right, there shouldn't be too big a problem getting a cheap deal on the dyes.

A good all around multivitamin with, maybe an iron supplement won't do any harm.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
