Should parents receive benefits regardless of their income or should there be a point at which parents no longer get a transfer of income from taxpayers?

I'm not voting because my prefered option isn't there.
I would prefer CB limited to first child accross the board so 1 child or 12 you get £20 a week.
I should probably vote regardless of income but that implies I think HH incomes of 60-80k should get it like they do now and Idon'tMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

I believe the benefit system is very necessary, but only as a safety net. In the case of child benefit for example it should not be given to those that are already fully capable of providing a decent home for their children. Otherwise what it really funds is:
Expensive cars
Luxury holidays
Frequent restaurant visits
Frequent boozing
Smoking
Etc.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
Not as obvious as it seems, by only supporting poor people with the benefits of the system (and I include free NHS) they may be allowed to wither on the Vine, for the Tories, just what the doctor ordered 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I think when it first came in it actually excluded the first child which was a nonsense as the first one has the highest step change costs e.g. giving up work.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I think more likely thinking of having one, If you are already a parent you are filthy child-junkie and should have no view.

Where's the option for "child benefit should be abolished full stop"?0

I think it should be for first pregnancy, (thinking twins/triplets), or 2 or whatever the national average family size is, but not when people are having a football team.Payment a day challenge: £236.69
