i have debts of over £50.000 cards loans etc, my income has dropped recently, what would be the best way to tackle the debt

Find out if each debt is valid in lines with the CCA 1974?
Are the cards loans pre 2007?I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
