Cheap calls to an Irish Mobile phone?

I am constantly phoning my sister in the Republic to her mobile phone, she does not have a landline, so I was astonished to see how much BT charged for the calls, nearly 40p per minute. I know BT NI offers a good rate to Irish landline numbers but this does not extend to mobiles. Anybody know of any good deals?

At the moment its Cheap Chat, as talked about by Martin here, at 3p a minute but keep checking out the International Call Checker for cheapest rates for Ireland and tick the box marked mobiles

You can phone Ireland from 0.5p/minute and 3p for mobiles by first dialling an another number.

If you can't be bothered dialling a very long pre-dial number, register for 18185 on your home phone and programme it in.



Then you just predial 18185 to use the service

Eire mobile is 11p
Eire Landline 1p

Uk calls are free

(all calls 4p connection fee, still cheaper than BT)
