Emigrating

Not sure where to put this thread so if it's in wrong place please move?

I lost my job due to someone else's behaviour a few months ago, and haven't managed to get into a similar post here, due to lack of experience - I have 4 years experience but all jobs I want need something like 10+ but I'm getting interviews  even a 600 mile round trip too. I'm currently temping and probably have another 4 months work where I am, although it's not been confirmed as yet.

I'm starting to think about emigrating, at 29 I think I'm young enough to go to another country, have no proper job, no house and no ties here I'm thinking why not, I might as well and the country I want to go to are ok female working environments - better than here in my industry by looks of it - I've been there 2 before and have friends there so have a bit of knowledge.

I'm hoping to find employment there before I leave; then go out, or if I'm not succesful maybe in say 4 - 6 months time (if not got a permanent post here) go and get a temp job and then seeing if I can get the other work I want when I get there.

What would others suggest I need to think about first, i.e. bank account there - they have a HSBC so I take it my account would be ok etc, house - I'd either stay at friends place initially or rent somewhere etc.

Any guidance would be gratefully received. :D
