A question about benefits and CSA1

Hello, I am finding CSA1 very confusing to say the least!:o
We are having a change of circumstance and I'm just trying to figure out our finances so any help would be much appreciated
If a NRP is recieving carers allowence, is any payment to the CSA due? I believe that on CSA2 if the NRP is on benefits it is a flat rate of £5 but also a % of child tax credits? Is it the same on CSA1?
Thank you in advance:)
