I can't think of any reason why Hamish would need a sock puppet, or perhaps I too am a sock puppet of his? What is bizarre to me is the assumption that the only people profiting out of huge house price rises are sweet old grannies
To be honest I don't care who is 'rewarded' by my expenditure on housing, what I do care about is that my expenditure on housing is as low as possible. In my circumstances I would spend less with the higher rates/lower prices of the past, rather than the lower rates/higher prices of today.0 -
